Middle Island Irish Historical Park

Middle Island Irish Historical Park commemorates our Irish Heritage and the Irish immigrants who died and were buried on the Island.
Take a stroll along the Ilsand walking trail and visit the interpretive centre (open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.) to learn the history of Middle Island and the Celtic cross that stands in honour of the Irish immigrants who are buried there.
There are also a canteen, picnic tables, volleyball nets, horseshoes, washer toss and benches.
Accessible via a short causeway off Lower Water Street.
